Buying tapered off into the close, but stocks still scored strong gains ahead of the monthly payrolls report on Friday. Participants were particularly fond of cyclical plays.
After the close, LEDS and WDFC, are the most notable names scheduled to report earnings results.
Futures are higher after hours: S&P 500 futures are +2.87 from fair value of 1349.03 and Nasdaq100 futures +6.56 from fair value of 2409.44.
Tomorrow morning before the open, two economic reports are scheduled to be released: 1) Nonfarm payrolls (Consensus 80K), Nonfarm private payrolls (Consensus 110K) and 2) Unemployment (Consensus 9.1%), Average workweek (Consensus 34.4) and Hourly earnings (Consensus 0.2%).
