Winn-Dixie Stores (WINN 6.74 +0.40) reported a first quarter loss of $0.44 per share, $0.06 worse than the Capital IQ Consensus Estimate of ($0.38).
Revenues rose 3.1% year/year to $1.59 billion versus the $1.6 billion consensus.
The company reaffirmed its expectation of Adjusted EBITDA for fiscal 2012 to be in the range of $120 million to $135 million. Among other factors, the Company's Adjusted EBITDA guidance is based on its current expectation that identical store sales for fiscal 2012 will increase by 2.5% to 3.5%.
